SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb.18 -- MegaVision Inc. announced today that it hosted a film crew from National Geographic at the MegaVision offices where imaging of the Qeiyafa Ostracon had taken place. The ostracon, a pottery shard inscribed with writing, was discovered at the site of the Khirbet Qeiyafa Archeological Project in July 2008 in an area known as the Elah Fortress, in Israel. The ostracon was dated to the time of King David, approximately 3,000 years ago. The film crew was preparing footage to be used in an upcoming National Geographic Special exploring recent discoveries of the Middle Kingdom years in the Middle East.
