Many of the great treasures of our heritage have learned from Mahomet’s hill; they will not be moved.   We have learned from Mohamet: we do not adjure the treasures come to us.  Rather, though more pilgrim than prophet, we  go to them to discover the hidden treasures they hold for us.  Here, very sparsely,  are a few brief accounts of what might be called campaigns, adventures, journeys, or projects, but in the end, really are pilgrimages on which were were privileged to be pilgrims.
